The future of software engineering is being shaped by rapid advances in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, big data, and the Internet of Things. The second Republican Conference on Actual scientific-practical problems of software engineering will explore these developments and encourage collaboration across academia and industry on 25 November 2026 in Baku, Azerbaijan.

The conference is organised by the Institute of Information Technology of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Academy of the State Security Service named after Heydar Aliyev, Azerbaijan Technical University, and the Azerbaijan Cybersecurity Organizations Association (ACOA). The event will bring together academics, researchers, students, and industry practitioners to exchange ideas, present innovative research, and discuss the latest developments in the field.

The programme will cover a range of contemporary topics, including artificial intelligence in software engineering, cybersecurity and secure programming, software architecture, cloud and IoT systems, big data technologies, green software engineering, reverse engineering, and the ethical and legal implications of AI.

Participants will have the opportunity to present their research, receive feedback from leading experts, build new professional networks, and contribute to the advancement of software engineering research and practice in Azerbaijan and beyond.

Submission deadline: 1 October 2026.
Notification of review outcomes: 15 October 2026.
Proposals are accepted in Azerbaijani, English, and Russian.
