GÉANT, in collaboration with the Group on Earth Observations (GEO) and other regional networks ASREN, RedCLARA, TEIN*CC, UbuntuNet Alliance, and WACREN, is running a questionnaire to better understand the network, data, and infrastructure requirements of research activities related to Earth Observation. This work builds on the Helsinki Declaration, signed by the partner networks at TNC26 in June 2026.
If you’re involved in a research project or initiative related to Earth Observation, we want to hear from you, particularly if it:
- involves international collaborations;
- requires high-volume or high-demand data transfers; or
- relies on internet connectivity to access infrastructures outside your institutional network.
The survey covers data sharing, workflows, tools, network usage, and collaboration models, and takes just a few minutes to complete. Your input will directly help Research and Education Networks (RENs) and GEO better understand community needs and plan targeted support.
