Lotte Delfgaauw appointed Chief People Officer and joins GÉANT Executive Team

Lotte Delfgaauw, GÉANT’s Chief People Officer

GÉANT is delighted to announce that Lotte Delfgaauw has been appointed Chief People Officer (CPO) and has joined the GÉANT Association’s Executive Team, effective 1 August 2026.

The new role strengthens People’s voice in GÉANT’s strategic decision-making, ensuring the people side of the organisation is closely integrated into key decisions and building on GÉANT’s ongoing focus on talent, culture, and leadership capability.

Lotte joined GÉANT in November 2022 as Head of HR. She brings extensive experience from international technology organisations, having previously held People leadership and HR business partnering roles at McAfee, Booking.com and EVBox. A collaborative and pragmatic leader, she believes in partnership and trust, and is passionate about creating inclusive environments where everyone can contribute and succeed.

Having worked in international and diverse organisations throughout my career, I have experienced the value of multiple perspectives. I am passionate about how people and organisations realise their potential, and I am inspired by what can be achieved when people come together around a common purpose and shared ambition. I take pride in creating the conditions for that collaboration to succeed. What excites me most about GÉANT is the opportunity to strengthen the connections between people, so that together we can make an even greater contribution to our shared mission.

Congratulations to Lotte, and we wish her every success in her new role!
