The new Internet IPv6 Hall of Fame has welcomed GÉANT CEO Erik Huizer to its list of inductees for the New Internet 6HoF 2019.
The IPv6 Hall of Fame (https://www.ipv6halloffame.org/) is a recognition program and virtual museum that celebrates the development of IPv6 and the individuals whose extraordinary contributions have made the progress possible. The IPv6 Hall of Fame was launched by the IPv6 Forum.
Erik has been recognised as an Evangelist for his leadership and contribution in significantly pushing forward the development and deployment of IPv6.
Erik adds, “I’m delighted to receive this award not just for me, but in recognition of the great work the GÉANT community has done and continues to do to support the sustainable growth and development of the Internet in the future. I also am really pleased to see the IPv6 Forum working hard to raise awareness of IPv6.”
