We are delighted to announce that the Call for Proposals for Lightning Talks at TNC21 opens today 28 January 2021.
Lightning Talks have always been very popular sessions at TNC, their importance has grown exponentially and reflects the community’s high expectations of our flagship conference. We all agree that these talks have always brought sparkle and fun to our event through the years.
Hand up if you have never attended or given a lightning talk.
Lightning Talks focus on one key point. This can be an idea, a successful project, a warning message , a story, a collaboration invitation, a demonstration or just useful advice. It is an opportunity for ideas to get the attention they deserve, in exactly 5 minutes!
To ensure that your proposal stands out and is successfully included in TNC21’s programme, try to follow these simple, but useful steps:
- READ the guidelines
- FOCUS on your message
- TELL us a story
- THINK about the content
- BE original
All Lightning Talk submissions will be reviewed by the TNC21 Programme Committee and all submitters will be notified in the beginning of April 2021.
Proposal abstracts should include:
• Presentation title
• Presentation description
• Presenter’s name and affiliation
• Authors names and affiliations (if different from the presenter)
