As the next step in global collaborations in the GÉANT Network eAcademy, the training programme dedicated to network automation (aka Network Automation eAcademy) now includes content from the GlobalNOC at Indiana University.
The GlobalNOC provides NOC services to Internet2 and more than 20 network partners in research, education, public service, and municipal operations, ranging from small and local to global in scope and impact, and fosters the usage of network automation with tools such as the Global Network Automation Tool (GNAT).
GlobalNOC contents now available in the Network Automation eAcademy include a new station for the Global Network Automation Tool (GNAT) in the “Automation Tools” section of our metro map, together with documentation on the YAML, JSON, XML, Ansible, and GitHub learning units. To access, log in via eduGAIN, SSO or social networks credentials: https://e-academy.geant.org/moodle/course/index.php?categoryid=20
You can find updated information about the training in the OAV Training Portal https://wiki.geant.org/display/NETDEV/OAV+Training+Portal.
And remember that you have an open window to the trainers and experts in the Network Automation eAcademy, with one hour for questions & answers and also for feedback and training requests on the first Tuesday of every month. Just drop an email to the Network Automation team at oav@lists.geant.org or network-eacademy@lists.geant.org to receive the link to join the room.
