GNA-G Network eAcademy Working Group – Seventh open monthly meeting – 08 July, 15:00 CEST
The GNA-G Network eAcademy Working Group is organising monthly meetings to discuss the last updates around Network Development topics, make the contents and tools of the Network eAcademy available to the entire research and education community, share knowledge, and discuss with Research and Education institutions around the world possible improvements to the initiative. The Working Group is also a platform to support R&E institutions in measuring their Orchestration, Automation and Virtualisation (OAV) maturity status and in comparing their OAV architecture with sibling organisations.
This GNA-G Network eAcademy Working Group Open Meeting will explore how emerging learning habits are transforming expectations around training. If learners increasingly consume condensed knowledge rather than full-length material, how should trainers in the Network eAcademy respond?
The aim of the session is to discuss the opportunities and risks we foresee in the Network eAcademy training, including AI-mediated learning, or the inclusion of more interactivity in the units. We will brainstorm together strategies to maintain engagement in our training align with contemporary learning behaviours without sacrificing quality, rigor, or meaningful learning outcomes. We need to find ways to integrate AI tools into our training and education systems rather than becoming dependent on them. The goal should be to use AI as a tool that enhances learning and development, not as a substitute for critical thinking and human expertise.
Anyone interested in the Network eAcademy is invited. You can also join the working group subscribing to the mailing list https://lists.gna-g.net/postorius/lists/network-eacademy-wg.lists.gna-g.net/.
