Explore country-by-country achievements of the EaPConnect project and partners

As we get ready to turn the page from 2020 to 2021, the EU-funded EaPConnect project is moving on to the next chapter in its ongoing story. But the past five years already brought ‘big picture’ benefits – in terms of reduced costs for increased network connectivity to Europe – and positive impacts in each of the 6 partner countries, so before moving on, we are marking the achievements of our partners in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine. In six stories you can explore their highlights, see the project achievements video with their subtitle translations, and find examples of research activities that have been positively affected by their support. Each country’s story also includes a link to a collection of all the stories we have published about that country, so you easily return for a country-by-country view as the second 5-year EaPConnect progresses.

Don’t just take our word for it that what the partners and project have achieved together has been beneficial: we’ve also collected testimonials from some significant people who give us their perspective.

So, if you want to compare facts and figures from country to country, or dive into one country’s achievements and explore in more depth, check out the stories from IIAP NAS RA – ASNET (Armenia), IIT of ANAS – AzScienceNet (Azerbaijan), UIIP NASB – BASNET (Belarus), GRENA (Georgia), RENAM (Moldova) and URAN (Ukraine). They are all linked from the main project achievements page, which itself will be kept updated during the second phase.
