We are extremely saddened to hear of the passing of Andrew Cormack of Jisc.
Andrew was a highly respected and well-liked pillar of the GÉANT community and as an expert in privacy, security, and identity he was deeply involved in so much of what makes our community unique.
A member of the GÉANT Community Committee and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Vietsch Foundation, Andrew also held numerous roles in privacy and security – so often the voice of reason as well as inspiring and encouraging others.
Described by those who worked closely with him as wise, kind, and with great integrity and impact, Andrew will be sorely missed.
