A new learning unit has been published in the GÉANT Network eAcademy, as part of the “AGILE, DevOps, CI/CD” track: “Version Control: GitHub”.
GitHub is a cloud-based utility for hosting Git repositories. It facilitates version control and collaboration with Git.
While utilising Git without Github requires technical knowledge and command-line experience, GitHub’s user-friendly interface makes Git accessible also to neophyte programmers. In fact, GitHub is so user-friendly that some people even use it to manage other non-code projects, such as writing novels!
You can follow the unit here (login required): https://e-academy.geant.org/moodle/course/view.php?id=330
Course duration: 2 hours
Trainer: Iacovos Ioannou, CYNET (Cyprus National Research and Education Network).
Visit the OAV Training Portal for updated information about the training, and to access the interactive Network eAcademy training map, a visual tool to help you follow your self-paced training, based on your interests.
And remember that you have an open window to the trainers and experts in the Network Automation eAcademy, with one hour for questions & answers and also for feedback and training requests on the first Tuesday of every month.
