AzScienceNet Network Operation Centre represented Azerbaijan’s research and education community at the RIPE87 event held in Rome, Italy from November 27 to December 1, 2023.
The event brought together approximately 557 onsite and 171 online attendees from around the world, including Internet service providers, network operators, and other stakeholders, to share experiences, latest developments, and best common practices in the field of networking.
AzScienceNet’s executive director, Rashid Alakbarov, and the head of the AzScienceNet Network Operation Centre, Babak Nabiyev, attended the event and actively participated in the discussions about the policies and procedures used by the RIPE Network Coordination Centre to allocate internet number resources and RIPE Working Group sessions to discuss current technical and policy issues.
