Cybersecurity Month

Making the community aware of the latest developments in cybersecurity and the newest risks is an important aspect of ensuring security. GÉANT is committed to disseminating cybersecurity news and advisories across all its channels. By doing this it aims to provide insights into the different aspects of cybersecurity awareness while pointing out where and how to get support and what is most crucial in the fight against cybercrime.

Since 2019 GÉANT has been taking part in Cybersecurity Month, an initiative coordinated by ENISA and the European Commission to raise cybersecurity awareness in Europe. Cybersecurity Month campaigns aim to encourage end-users to arm themselves against digital threats and feel empowered to protect their organisation (and themselves). How do they do it? By sharing articles, interviews, recommendations, and organising webinars, presented by security experts from the R&E community and industry.
